Privacy Policy

uBringIt is built around a single idea: organizers share one link, guests sign up. We collect only the information needed to make that work, we don't sell it, and you can delete it at any time by emailing admin@ubringit.net.

• Event details you create: name, date, time, location, categories, and notes.
• Sign-ups guests submit: name, what they're bringing, attendance, optional notes.
• The organizer's email address (so we can send sign-up notifications and event-link recovery).
• If you sign in: your email and authentication identifier from our auth provider.
• If you buy a paid upgrade: a Stripe customer reference and the entitlement record. We never store your full card details.
• For AI Planner outputs: the inputs you submitted and the generated plan, tied to your account.

Events are link-only by default. We do not index events publicly, do not show them in search, and do not list them on the home page. Anyone who knows the link can view and sign up; share it only with people you want at your event.

The optional photo album is opt-in per event. If enabled, guests who upload photos consent that those photos are visible to anyone with the event link. Organizers can remove photos at any time.

Payments for paid upgrades (photos, AI Planner, organizer tools) are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives the card information directly from your browser — we never see or store it. We retain only the resulting receipt reference and the entitlement.

We send transactional email only: sign-up confirmations, event-link recovery, receipt notifications, and replies to your support messages. We don't send marketing email. You can unsubscribe from any non-essential email through the link in the message, or by emailing us.

Data is stored in our managed Postgres database with row-level security. Access tokens used by organizers to edit their own events are stored server-side and never exposed to the public API. We use HTTPS everywhere.

• Edit or delete an event at any time from "My events".
• Request export or deletion of all your data by emailing admin@ubringit.net.
• Revoke a guest sign-up by editing the event or asking the organizer to remove it.

uBringIt is intended for use by adults organizing events. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted data, contact us and we'll delete it.

If we make material changes to this policy we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify organizers by email.
